I have a 2002 RCA 52" rear projection TV.

Is it possible for me to hook my laptop to it?

All I have on the laptop is the blue cord thing that I use to plug into a projector for some classes I teach...

Do they make a blue cord thing with A/V cables on the other end?

I know my desktop has the video card with the TV out ability...but not my laptop...

There has to be a way!

1. What video inputs does the RCA have?

VGA (computer monitor) to component video are fairly common (you can source them locally at most Best Buy-type places). They look like this:



Should be about $20-30. If you need a VGA to RCA (composite) video (single yellow-colored video input) or S-video, they are available, too:



In fact, I have a couple of VGA to composite and VGA to S-video adapters sitting here in a drawer, gathering dust. PM me if you're interested (you can have 'em free, maybe a few bucks to cover shipping).
