Frozen crabs and the blonde stewardess
Frozen crabs and the blonde stewardess

A lawyer boarded an airplane in New Orleans with a box of frozen crabs and asked a blonde stewardess to take care of them for him. She took the box and promised to put it in the crew's refrigerator.

He advised her that he was holding her personally responsible for them staying frozen, mentioning in a very haughty manner that he was a lawyer, and proceeded to rant at her about what would happen if she let them thaw out. Needless to say, she was annoyed by his behavior.

Shortly before landing in New York , she used the intercom to announce to the entire cabin,"Would the lawyer who gave me the crabs, in New Orleans , please raise your hand?"

Not one hand went up... so she took them home and ate them.

Two lessons here:
1. Lawyers aren't as smart as they think they are.
2. Blondes aren't as dumb as most folk think.

1. I absolutely do not understand the hatred toward lawyers.

Is it because roughly half of all married people have been defendants in a divorce action?

3. Could it be that they are trained to be fierce advocates for their clients?
I've never heard an attorney talk out of both sides of his/her mouth about his or her client. Lawyers very often will accept cases with varying interests, but their job is to fiercely advocate for their clients, not to espouse their personal views in court.

6. No need for snark, TA.
I wasn't being snarky with you. If you're talking about lobbyists, they represent a very small minority of lawyers nationwide.

9. Reminds me of the one where an airport got snowed in and everyone was going nuts
looking for a flight out, any flight. One man was huffing and puffing, madly waving his hands around, declaring that he "demands a flight right now, DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I AM???"

The counter person calmly switched on the PA and asked, "We have a man here who can't remember who he is, can anyone help?"
