Just wached the end of "Cliffhanger", the Stallone movie....
was it supposed to be funny?
The ending, with the fight on the helicopter hanging from a piton on the side of a mountain was just laughable, and the music, evidently an attempt to create tension, was a huge joke.

I know this is an old movie, but I have managed to avoid seeing it except for these last few minutes and plan to continue to do so in the future...

Sorry, Sly...not a great one.

Wanna see a GREAT Stallone film... one early in his career (that
I think he co-wrote and produced/directed(?) maybe) -- "Paradise
Alley" with Armande Assante and Frank McRae (who turns in yet
ANOTHER stellar performance -- he's Hazel in "Cannery Row" --
this is one actor who hasn't gotten NEAR the recognition he so
justly deserves).
.
I LOVE that movie. Deep and rich. Set in 1940's Hell's Kitchen
in NYC (I'm a sucker for period pieces).
