Hey, if your baby is in the water and there is a shark in the water

there are far more maternal things to do than sing about the situation and simply warning the baby.

For instance, one could help the baby out of the water. Or perhaps, one could get a large stick and poke the shark if it comes near the baby. At the very minimum one could throw the baby some type of floatation device.

Aside from maybe Jaques Cousteau, what parent just leaves their baby in the water WITH A SHARK??

Perhaps CPS should be called.

1. In my own defense, I will point out:

(1) I have this irrational phobia of sharks, but
(2) Singing doesn't frighten me at all

So it sort of seemed natural at the time
