I thought the guy was silly when I was little kid.

Of course now that song will be stuck in my head for a while.

4. Of course, as one of the commenters pointed out, he could really sing
without autotune and the band was playing its own instruments.

Not a groundbreaking act by any means, but a fun novelty that incidentally illustrates the difference between the early and late 1960s. This was only four years before Woodstock. If you weren't alive at the time, just think about how fast the cultural change occurred.

true crush as a kid. All the girls seemed to go for Elvis or
Ricky Nelson or later the Beatles...but I secretly was in love with Roger.
