If they made me a moderator, I would pick 2 or 3 of the nicest DUers who never cause any trouble, and I would send them the following warning:

Several of your recent PMs have been alerted on. These PMs contain the words "Fucko", "Fucking Idiot", and "Nosebag". This is unacceptable in the DU community. Consider this your final warning.

Also, I would tombstone all of the admins, and the other mods.

Then, I would come into both the lounge and GD and start raising holy hell. I would type in all caps, and tell people to fuck off.

As I watched this unfold, I would throw my head back in open mouthed laughter, and then swill down some more cheap beer while half of it drips down my chin and my eyes glaze over in glee.

It is for these reasons that it is probably not a good idea for me to apply to be a mod.

7. Hey, happened to me the other night.

I got called out by a mod for calling someone out when I wasn't calling anyone out, which means someone should have locked the mod's lock. I've never seen a double lock, though. Does it lock it twice, or is it like a double negative that undoes the original?

8. I got locked twice. About 2 months ago. First, one mod came along and locked it.

And a bit later another one came along and must've been equally offended, but for a different reason. And didn't see the first lock. And ended up double locking me.

I thought it was pretty cool.

Probably doesn't happen much.
