Do you have any fans around your place? It's been so unbearably hot here this summer that we're now running two fans and have a third, tall "standventilator" ordered. We saw a cute little fan online for CMW's desk, but unfortunately, the seller won't send it from Germany to Switzerland. :(

Seems like he goes to his permanent home coming weekend. Even though I don't want to keep him, I will miss him.

Fans???? What is that? I have a tiny battery fan at home and something that is supposed to be a fan at work. But that's about it. I am not a big fan of A/C though, as my nose gets very dry.

Supposed to get a thunderstorm tonight ... but they say it won't help with the heat. Oh joy ... even more humidity.

Could I get you the fan maybe???

I remember when I was in the U.S. as a nanny I kept turning down or off the A/C as it was too cold for me to go to sleep. I don't think my guest parents were too happy but never said a word. I was there September through June, in NC. Not really the time for an A/C except the last two, three months.

they really really wanted to win badly. And thought what the heck, there won't be any consequences for yellow cards. Well, they got through with it, except the one yellow/red card towards the end. And that was rather late anyway. The one kick against the Spanish player's chest deserved red already.

and the referee was very generous in giving only a yellow card for that. Heitinga's 2nd yellow and ejection opened a hole in the defense that Spain exploited and got the winning goal.
