I swear my one cat is constantly testing that theory. Just broke a coffee mug =(.

1. You'll have to keep your mug out of the cat's territory...
wait, that would be impossible. How did it manage to break the mug?

2. The gray and white longhair in my sigline, Missy.
She has previously discovered that when she gets up enough speed, she can run sideways on the walls when flying around the house like a miniature furry tornado.

I am used to it, but we had some friends over for the holiday last week, and one of them was throwing the rattley mousey toy for the kitties (Missy will pick up one of her toys and drop it in your lap when she wants you to throw it) when she took a short-cut past her kitty rivals and ran parallel to the ground, sideways, down the hallway wall.

The look on her face was hilarious.

I just said, "Yeah, she doesn't let gravity get in the way of having fun."

6. I'd love to see a video of that.
It's worthy of you tube.

4. My oldest beasts are scholars in the study of dreamscapes
and the ideal positions for naps. :P

They're also experts in the field of consumption of treats for producing the best dreams. The beasties absolutely cannot take naps on empty stomachs, after all. :loveya:

7. My Evie was born gravitationally-challenged
She uses "up" and "down" interchangeably. When we lived in a 2-story house, she'd bolt up the stairs, bank-shot off the wall and land 8 feet into the living room, all without touching the floor while in flight. Pretty impressive. She taught her brothers how to do that, but she was always the best of the three.

And I've seen Neutrino climb down a screen door head-first like a squirrel. It's a deeply disturbing sight. :P

8. A cat has no concern with laws of gravity. In terms of a coffee mug
they like to test the material, to see if it will bounce. They like things that bounce. They don't know if it's ceramic or rubber. They are just testing.

9. Lost about 500 bucks worth of pottery and collectibles to one of mine.
He found a route onto the mantle and proceeded to imitate a few Galilean experiments. Did it twice before we cleared the mantle.

10. mine is a scholar and quite the gymnast
she, in a dead run, jumps on the dog's back, and catapults herself about 2 feet in front of him, kinda looks like a woman gymnast on the vault :)
