Arbitron tv and radio questionnaire

I just received this in the mail today. Most of the questions are pretty self explanatory e.g., how many hours of tv do you watch per day; how many of radio; what's your favorite channel etc.

Then there's one open ended question: Please use the space below to tell us any comments you have about tv or radio.

I am thinking of saying something to the effect of there are not enough left-leaning shows (news) on tv or radio.

( p.s. something about me: I watch FAR too much tv....)

Anyone else ever get one of these questionnaires?

1. Yes, I did Arbitron twice when we lived in a more populated area.

You have a very valid point about radio and TV lacking balanced coverage.

One thing that was cool--- I had some problem with local programming-- and when I called, I said, "I'm doing the Arbitron survey, and (blah, blah, blah)." I got right through to some bigwig who listened to my complaint.

The only "down" side was that I felt compelled to fill in numbers for the shows I wanted to see kept on the air. So I wasn't always 100% truthful!
