What kind of dog am I?
Brownie was a recent adoptee into our family. She's a sweet and smart dog. There is, however, a bit of contention as to the breed she is. The lady we got her from says lab and husky. I do not see any lab in her. I do see something else, but I don't want to say it until others have had their say.

6. Me too. The German Shepard markings seem pretty clear
But there's gotta be other influences too. I don't see Husky but the Lab part seems plausible. Nonetheless whatever her background, she looks like a Sweetheart more then anything else. :-)

3. I should point out...
She's got a tail that curls up toward her back when she's walking. Can't see it too well when she's sitting. :-)

my Kane who is a part Norwegian Elkhound. They look similar to a German Shepherd.

8. You are right, the similarity is there.
How is Kane btw, love him..:loveya:
Dog breeds are a funny thing. You can get genetic testing to find out exactly what breed a mutt is but often times its nothing like you think....

16. He's big and getting bigger. I need to take some pictures
He's such a good boy. I'm worried about kenneling him when we go on vacation though :( It's a whole 10 days. We've never left a furkid that long. The boarding place is good .. I just worry.

9. Likely a mix, but from this view she's a North American Shepherd
A little too much tan in the coat, but the head, ears, muzzle, tail and markings all say she's a NAS.

Sees shepherd in her. But as Tuesday Afternoon pointed out, she's a cute doggy, that's what she is!

14. The black saddle/muzzle on tan does that.
And she's absolutely adorable, no matter the mix.

12. I see husky in this cute puppy. Doesn't look like lab, but you never know
how genes will combine. Maybe they are right. But I also think there could be German Shepherd.
