Can you recommend a clock radio with decent reception?
I like to listen the the radio before bed, but my clock radio sounds like crap. I wouldn't mind one with an iPod dock, but it's not essential.

And then get an alarm clock besides.
I grew up with the radio on all night.

5. AM or FM?
Edited on Fri Jul-09-10 03:14 PM by pokerfan
AM is often problematic because many stations are required to dial down their power at sunset. Try physically rotating the radio for best reception as the AM antenna is generally highly directional. For FM drive moving the power cord around or try a different outlet.

Another option is to get one that has either an iPod dock or a USB port that accepts a thumb drive. That way you can listen to your own playlist or a recently downloaded podcast.

My favorite show comes on at 10pm. But the reception is often so bad I turn it off.

7. I've had difficulty with my clock radio
but I've been able to improve FM reception by futzing around with the power cord as I described upstream.
