Lets play how hot is it where you live ..
Its 97 degrees with 36% humidity: Feels like 100 degrees here in Maryland. Thats pretty hot..we set a record yesterday...105 at Baltimore. I don't recall in my 35 years here ever seeing a temp over that.

I had the opposite thing happened to me when I landed in Washington state back in February, 2006. I didn't even see the sun for 2-3 weeks because the entire sky was covered with clouds. That was so strange to me and depressing.

16. 94 in the shade on the front porch where I just watered
91 IN the house here at my desk, back yard is reading 103. Humidity on my little cheapo dollar store toy says about 30% - pretty high for what my skin looks like, but it may be because I just watered the front door area and it is withing 20 feet of that.

It is 12:30 pm so temps will likely rise 3 to 5 more degrees by 3 then we should cool down unless clouds come in (and I see some on the horizon) Hopefully it is going to rain tomorrow.

22. Pleasantly warm in Albuquerque...about 90
Going to have some days only in the mid 80's this week, which is actually a little cool for here in July. But we don't get quite as hot as a lot of people think; we're a mile high, just like Denver so it doesn't get to extremes of heat like Phoenix or Las Vegas. Afternoon thunderstorm season should be arriving any time, but yesterday ( or Monday?) the humidity was 5 %.

Ashley Tisdale - Crank It Up
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnSbpPXlmvo

Th-Th-This beat is hypnotic
I wanna ride like a shofa
The sound of zonic's
Controlling me just like a rova
I go bionic, so D-D-DJ put it on
I'm losing logic and cruising deeper in the zone

It's so cinematic
Charismatic

G-Got me froze up

This psychopathic
Beat is something

I need a dose of
I'm systematic
Mo-Moving every single bone
There's no mechanic
That can't understand what I'm on

Let's crank it up {crank it up}
Until the walls cave in
Crank it up {Crank it up}
Put the record on spin
Cause I am ready to party
Gonna get my girls and get naughty
Crank it up {Crank it up}
Until the walls cave in
Just crank it up

Oh, oh, oh, whoa
Oh, oh, oh, whoa {Crank it up}
Oh, oh, oh, whoa
Oh, oh, oh, whoa

Th-Th-This beat is melodic
Harmonic, got me striking poses
I get up on it, electronically feeling so fresh
It's so erotic my body's like a cyclone
I'm like a puppet, can't stop it
Drop it like a stone

It's so cinematic
Charismatic

G-Got me froze up

This psychopathic
Beat is something

I need a dose of
I'm systematic
Mo-Moving every single bone
There's no mechanic
That can't understand what I'm on

Until the walls cave in
Crank it up {Crank it up}
Put the record on spin
Cause I am ready to party
Gonna get my girls and get naughty
Crank it up {Crank it up}
Until the walls cave in
Just crank it up

Up, up, up, DJ, up, up, up
Turn it up, turn it up, turn it up louder!

Let's crank it up {crank it up}
Until the walls cave in
Crank it up {Crank it up}
Put the record on spin
Cause I am ready to party
Gonna get my girls and get naughty
Crank it up {Crank it up}

And before a Texan/Floridian/denizen of hell chimes in, yes, I know it's hotter down South. I lived in Louisiana and Arkansas. You guys have central a/c. New Englanders think it's a big deal to install a 5,000 btu window unit.

Low 90s, your average threat of afternoon showers.

One thing I have to impart over and over who think that Florida summers are just sooo brutal--they really aren't any worse than summers in most places in the Mid Atlantic or Northeast.

Not that the Mid Atlantic summer heat was the reason for me moving down here--that would be the ridiculously crazy blizards, ice storms and temps below 32.

It's a beautiful day. We've had lots of rain and heat and humidity. The weather is always interesting in the corn belt. Dana ; )

70. I'm pretty convinced there is Thermal Censorship in Rio.
The hardly ever confess to it being hotter than 40 C (104 F) in the media, but I'm damn sure it reaches 45 C (113 F) with regularity. During dictatorship times it was even more blatant -- the weather man would call the maximums as 36, 37, 38, or 39.3, 39.5, 39.2... no numbers below 39 would ever get a decimal part.

It's hell. It's sad because this would be an excellent place to live if not for the heat. Crime, you say? Feh. It's much easier to avoid crime than to avoid the heat.

Right now, we're in the middle of the livable six months.

I'm seriously thinking about a trip to Alaska.

Always wanted to visit anyway and this seems as good a time as any.

Dead of winter in New Zealand.

Bloody cold. I feel bad about running the heater but all my plants would die if I didn't. :-(
