Bought a refurb Blu-Ray player that supposedly plays Netflix, Pandora, YouTube and Blockbuster streams "instantly through your wireless network"

Yeah, instantly as soon as you shell out $50 to $80 for a wireless adapter. And being a refurb, there's nothing on the packaging... had to dig around their website to find this little tidbit of information after repeated failed attempts to connect (maybe an error message "you didn't buy the goddam network adapter, you gullible moran" would be in order?) and attempting to upgrade the firmware and a lot of wasted time.

so, I'm going to spend $5 to get a goddam 25 foot ethernet cable and run it from the router to the Blu-Ray player rather than throw another $50 to get this fucking thing to work.
