16. In New York, 40 years ago, people used to do this to parking hogs

Some people used to put a sign on the windshields of parking hogs, with a picture of a pig and the words, "I am a parking pig"--glued on the windshield with road tar!!!

I don't think--I know--they can't get away with doing that nowadays!

10. My peeve is people who park in front of the curb cut,

so that I can't get up onto the sidewalk from the parking lot. Not only are they taking up a handicapped space, but they are also preventing people like me from being able to shop no matter where we are able to park.

Someone has to help me out of my chair, lift my chair up onto the sidewalk, and help me back into it because of where some asshole parked.

If there is a curb cut (and incline) leading from the parking lot to the sidewalk don't fucking park in front of it! There is a reason those blue diagonal lines are blocking the space in front of it. @#$%&! :grr:

11. Some people are so freaking oblivious to the limitations of others.

At a place I used to work, very able bodied people used to park in the handicapped parking spaces, which were right in front of the different buildings in the complex. I cannot tell you how much pleasure I used to take from plastering big bright orange stickers on their windhield's and driver's side windows. :evilgrin:

I got even more pleasure from confronting the assholes face to face.

I have had people argue with me that "it isn't a real handicapped space." I guess maybe because they thought there were too many. As if it is their decision to make. I never did figure out what makes one space a real handicapped space and another one not so real.

I wish more people carried those bright orange stickers around. :P
