Good news: I do not have ringing in my ears
Bad news: I hear non-stop humming of vuvuzelas. :banghead:

This too shall pass... I have ringing in my ears, due to many many years of NSAID use...I'd rather have the tinnitus than the pain! Actually, truth be told, I'd rather not have either...oh well. :hi:

4. As much as I like watching soccer...
I might have reached my threshold for noise tolerance this time around.

3. I have hooting in my ears.
It's a freight train going by on the BN&SF line out by the Puyallup River. It's actually like a million trains, because I've heard that horn non-stop for an hour or so...

5. We have a train that goes by our house, too
If I hear it then I usually know I've stayed up too late.

10. Shoot, there goes another one out there...
Busy time for trains tonight... I've got my window open for the breeze. The trains going by out there sound so...I don't know...'bucolic' isn't the right word, but it's close...

7. When I lived in RV parks here around Tucson...
. . . ...they were almost always NEAR the train line. . . . JUST far enough away so that the train whistles, instead of being annoying, had that iconic lonesome and/or adventurous feel to them. . . . It was very nice. .

8. I live just inside that border.
I'm just close enough to the freight line that train horns are annoying, but they don't keep me up at night.
