I just saw the first Crocus of the spring!
I love this time of year! A purple Crocus just bloomed in my backyard--it's gorgeous! After a winter of incessant snow, ice, gloominess and cabin fever, I feel like a weight has been lifted! I guess living in the frozen north really heightens my appreciation of spring. Next, the Daffodils!

2. How cool!
I remember how excited I would get when I'd see the crocuses (croci?) start springing up when I lived in Chicago.

But AZ has some advantages, not many, but some. One of my tomatoes is orange! There are many little green 'matoes on the vines but one is decidedly orange. Can't wait!

I am anxiously waiting for the hyacinths to bloom, they are my favorite flower.
