A couple of farewells in the lounge recently

I've been a member of DU since March 2003. I used to post under a different account that is now closed. In 2005 I got pissed off at this place and said adios. I was gone for 6 months, but I did return, obviously. I had made some friends here and I missed them. I also missed writing for you guys.

I get along with everyone here now aside from those who might have me on ignore due to my controversial trucking stories. :D I enjoy this place and I like it a lot better now that I avoid the situations that pissed me off back before I took my break. I post mainly in three forums now and one of those not as often as the other two. You might find a random post from me in GD every once in while, but that's about it.

I know some people just feel like they have to abandon the whole site for ideological reasons. I'd prefer to abandon a forum before I abandoned the entire site. I just get too much enjoyment out of the places I do choose to post to say goodbye to you all. Peace.

There was a guy here who hated my stories and he would always make it known when I posted one. He has been banned, however, so I don't think he was an honest critic.

I was just joking around there. I've received nothing but positive responses to my stories except from a troll who has been banned.
