Ring No Longer Fits My Finger. Has This Ever Happened To Anyone?
OK,so about 7 or 8 months ago I bought myself a really nice ring. I wore it everyday for about a month or so. Then, one day I was working around the house and decided to take the ring off.I put it in a box and somehow misplaced it until a few days ago when I discovered it while cleaning. I put it on and it was very tights. I barely got the ring off. Now, I have not gained any weight and my fingers don;t look bigger or swollen. This ring a few months ago fit perfect and now it's really tight.Has this ever happened to anyone?

1. You have to wear it every day to keep it stretched out....
nah, just kidding.

None of my rings fit me anymore. My fingers didn't get fat either!

3. My rings always get a little tighter in the summer
Even if my fingers don't look swollen.

10. Yep. And rings that fit fine in warm weather will practically fall off during cold weather.

4. as another post says
in the summer, fingers tend to swell a bit, even if it isn't visibly noticeable.

Try the ring again in October, it'll probably fit.

I can't wear my wedding ring comfortably right now, despite having worn it all winter.

Fortunately, my wife doesn't really care, and never wears hers.

5. Thanks!
Glad to know it's not just me. I even tried it on all my other fingers.

6. I've worn my wedding ring without taking it off for 31 years. I doubt it
would come off now with axle grease and a wheel puller.

7. You might be retaining a little water before your period and it'll fit fine after it.
That happens to me. Unless you're a man -- then that's probably not your problem.

8. yeah in time w. my monthly cycle

my finger may or may not appear "swollen" but apparently it is

if it stays tight, you can have the jeweler loosen it a little, it's a quick adjustment, but in my case, it won't stay the same size, i weigh myself every day and if my weight changes by as a little as 2 pounds, i might have to change fingers

i got my wedding ring a little loose so it's never too tight and then i wear another ring as a ring guard so it won't come off by accident, but sometimes i have to use a different ring guard, if my finger is swollen or not swollen

hope this makes sense

11. That happened to me with my wedding ring
Getting it off was trippy.

I bound my finger with floss. Then I worked the ring over the floss. Then I slowly undid it from the end I started with. Hurt like a son of a bitch, but it helped me get the ring off.
