DUers in relationships: Do you like to communicate with your SO every day?
Or do you not mind going a day or even 2 days with no communication of any kind? I always assumed that couples liked to communicate with each other daily, but I'm finding out it's not the case.

1. My dear Pushed To The Left...
Do you mean someone you live with? My husband and I go hours without talking to one another, without even being together...

But we do communicate each and every day. ALWAYS.

Now, I can't speak for folks who don't live together.

We definitely do, though.

:hi:

2. For 54 years, daily communication with my SO was a given . . . except when
he was on life-support and unconscious.

3. Good heavens no.
A call every 2 or 3 days is fine.

4. Of course I like to communicate to my SO everyday
Though, she's currently on vacation and I don't know when she's coming back. Long distance relationships can be frazzling.

5. We hang out all the time - we enjoy each other's company, which is why
we got married in the first place...

7. I've been married 8 years now. We spend most of our time together.
I find my husband to be a little clingy sometimes. I have always been somewhat of a loner and while I love my husband very much, I also enjoy time apart.

9. I love it and look forward to it...
I don't get to spend much time with Paul due to our work schedules so any chance I have to sit and talk is great for me.

10. during summer when i dont have to get up, hubby goes to work and i dont get to say bye
i dont feel right all day.

i like connecting before he goes off to work. son has been getting up early to go to practice so i still have to get up early. without that, i insist hubby makes sure i get up to send him off for the day.

ya, i like touching base with him daily.

i like sitting down with all at dinner, to connect.

and i love our lying in bed to watch stewart and colbert

then what comes inbetween the other, is fine too.

11. Yes, we talk daily
sometimes 2 or 3 times. We are not married or living together yet, but we will in the next year or so.

I am fine with once/day. I'm something of a loner. He is more chatty and social than I am. I actually love the extra attention even when I'm not feeling chatty. :-).

12. I haven't heard from the husband in over 24 hours
He's off on a business trip. No big deal, after 15 years I know he'll be back.

Our last "communication" was that I noticed he moved the trash can into my side of the garage before he left for the airport - a subtle reminder that it's trash day today and I should put the can out at the curb. :D

13. Yes, but everyone's different.
If you're not communicating as much as you'd like to be, you should probably let your SO know about it.

14. Communicate or just Talk?
We talk every day. But I wouldn't say we really communicate daily.

As the saying goes.

But we're fresh into our relationship. We've only been together for 36 years...........
