Good news on the whole buck nekkid Diego Maradona victory lap thing

A couple of weeks ago, Argentina coach Diego Maradona (some of you may remember him in such exploits as the "Hand of God" goal and the "Goal of the Century" goal from the 1986 World Cup) announced that he would do a naked victory jog through Buenos Aires if his team wins the World Cup.

Well, in a refreshing reprieve from the horrible mental image that announcement brought on, Diego's daughter, who is in South Africa with the team to, um, give Diego fashion advice ("Please Dad, stop with the tracksuits already!"), announced that El CokeMonkey has dropped 15 kilos and can run with the team in training.


A lighter, faster, extremely naked Diego Maradona? What's not to love about the World Cup?

That team is ridiculous with the talent. Messi, Milito, Tevez, Demicheleis, Samuel, Mascherano, Maxi Rodrigues...personally, I think they've got the second-best side at the Cup, just barely behind Spain (edge to Spain for a better midfield, even though it kills me to say that with two Reds for Argentina).
