Bull semen valued at $2,700 was reported stolen Friday from a rural Sheboygan Falls dairy farm, according to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department.

Dorene Hanke, 52, reported that 30 containers of bull semen had been stolen over a several-week period from a barn at her farm at N6368 Willow Rd., said Detective David Obremski.

The theft remains under investigation.

10. That stuff is worth it's weight in gold to a dairy farmer.
It produces little dairy cows, that grow into big ones that produce lots of milk.

(And veal calves.)

13. the closest I have ever come to a dairy or any kind of farm
is a field trip in 6th grade, I mean I grew up on my grandparents farm, but all we had were some rabbits, a sadistic duck, a violent goat and a horse, the barn was converted into a wet bar :P
