So i thought I would post something that wasn't all Lung Transplanty...
So I go to Walgreens to get some Cashews cause the flyer said they were on sale and I just so happened to have this major craving for the 'Shews and there were no drugs involed at all, I promise you that was so 1980's...

Anyway, the wife comes roaring out of the house asking me where are you going and I say Walgreens to get some nuts and she says i wanna go with and I says okay, jump in.

So we get to Walgreens and like everything in the store that is bad for you was on sale and we had to get some birthday cards and stuff so we spent about 35 minutes in this Walgreens and I didn't think it was possible except maybe when I had to get the flu shot because of my lung condition and there were all this old people there (Including ME) standing around making small talk and you know how fun that can be (It is fun to make WWII comments and bond with them by saying that Glen Miller was really good and it was too bad he had to die in the war and all).

Oh yea, Walgreens. Man they sell a lot of stuff there like white cheddar cheese pop
corn in a snazy bag to make you okay with paying a little more for Designer Pop Corn which is really just freakin POPCORN. But we bought it anyway because it was on sale and all.

Then I saw that big jug of Arizona Iced Tea and I hadn't had any of that sweet nectar for AGES and AGES and since a whole 128oz was only 1.99, how do they DO IT, so I put one in the cart. Yea, a cart, we got a cart at WALGREENS.

Oh and I bought the new Newsweek because I felt sorry for them that everyone is reading the damn thing on line so no one excpet people over like 80 are actually buying the Magazine. An investment in the Free Press thank you very much.

So we are having Popcorn and Cashews and Salt and Pepper potato Kettle chips for dinner.

Anyway, I walked into the store with 50 bucks in the old wallet and guess how much the total of all that stuff was. 49.49 cents. Whoooo. I walked out of that Walgreens with .51 cents.

So that's my story.

I just wanted to do a regular Facebook type of thing instead of appearing like all I ever posted was news about my blog, blog this, blog that....

Happy Memorial Day everyone....

So I had to break this brilliant yet right on post into six different parts. Can you believe that.

2. A shopping cart......
at Walgreens?

OK...

No, seriously, sounds like you had fun!

We used to eat waffles for dinner. Mom would make us eat the creamed chicken or whatever she made that was healthier, and then we could get crazy with syrup and such!

I think we did popcorn for dinner sometimes too...

Happy Memorial Day to you too!

6. Deep fry 'em, and they taste better.
After you wrap them in bacon, of course.

7. Walgreen's has an AMAZING amount of junk snackfood...
.
.
.
...that's always on amazing sales.
.
.
.
So you get 3 things for 49 cents and two for 79 cents and five for 29 cents
and 2 for 1.29, etc. etc. etc. until, without realizing it, you are being
asked for $49.49 and walking out with that 51 cents.
.
.
.
Been there. Done that at Walgreen's.
.
.
.
WAY too many times.
.
.
.
Kinda cool, though. Like a one-stop Halloween bag-o'-goodies when you get home.
