1. Sam Clemens was by all accounts a great wit.
I like Groucho, don't get me wrong, but Mark Twain's on a higher level.

2. It's a coin flip to me. Groucho was more esoteric and could slide by the censors
really well

3. I had to vote for Groucho and it's no reflection on Twain
But I'm afraid with Twain at the dinner table I wouldn't get a word in edgewise while Groucho would make everything I say sound funnier than it is.
