lost my old alpha male two years ago today
the new alpha...his pup ...is awesome..took over right off the bat and is a good leader.

Damnit I miss king and his minion little bear

his minion and daughter ..little bear...got killed by of all things a bear a few weeks later.His son..big bear..and his new minions keep us safe but I miss king and little bear so much

2. Actually, in the case of dogs, I believe you would be the alpha of the pack
If raised right, dogs treat their owners as alphas and relegate themselves to intermediate positions in the household's hierarchy, above other dogs in the home. You can tell by the way they roll onto their backs and pee at you.

By the way, King and Little Bear sound like wonderful family members. Dogs don't last as long as most of us, but their love is so unconditional I think it lasts a whole lifetime.

King was the unquestioned ruler of the dogs on our hill.Big bear's minions are just as good...he has his son..charles xavior johnson and the fearless terrior katy lady to do his bidding...just a bad day for me I guess...should be happy I'm blessed with such good dogs

5. oh I forgot to add
they are german shepards...and big bear has a thing for roses..we have a wall of roses on our front porch and he likes to smell them.....like I say..I'm blessed with good dogs...just a bad day for me.

Big bear is laying half in and half out of the door as I type this....his lazy ass has his minions laying around him ;)

I'm happy with my beautiful animals...just a bad day for me

This is my big baby boy.....He is 12. He was on the futon behind me as I was typing..and yes, that is the head and paw of a cat by his butt.

9. Aw, man? German Shepherds are just THE BEST.
Since a few days after our marriage in 1969 we were fortunate to have Beau, Studs, Max, Gypsy, and Nasha.

Nasha, our last, was the only one who just went peacefully in the night from old age.
