Now all I need is for 1 o'clock to get here so I can sit back and watch the first place Reds try to sweep the slumping Indians. I was joking around here a couple of weeks ago by saying the Reds were going all the way when they were in the cellar. I'll gladly take a little pie in the face for that. They may not make it to the Series, but they are looking pretty good right now.

What are your plans for today (baseball or otherwise)?

1. gonna ride my bicycle out to the beach and back - about 20 miles

then do some REAL goofing off.

2. Are you originally from Florida?

I was posting the other day about how I'd like to live in a warmer climate, being a trucker and all. I don't know about Florida, though. I hear them geckos get pretty big down that way an they've got teeth. :)

not sure i've ever even seen a gecko. the mosquitos are the thing i find most irritating.

4. Yeah you've got killer mosquitoes as well as man eating lizards

I was down in the Keys a long time ago searching for myself. I was sitting on a beech in Marathon Key drinking beer. The hotel owner there had some farm animals and I was sharing my beer with a goat. Me and the goat were the only ones on the beech. The sun started to go down and I was plenty tipsy. I figured I'd sit there for a while and watch the stars come out. My plans were changed with a quickness when swarm of mosquitoes decided I'd make for a good lunch. I've never experienced anything like it at the hands of insects. I literaly sprinted back to my room. I still had the bugs all over me and it took a while to get them off. I probably would have been killed if I'd stayed outside. :D

I'm a trucker and when someone says "4 wheeler" I think of cars.
