4. they wanted it on the 23rd

I'd prefer they keep it on Tuesday as well, but they do love those numbers.

5. I don't get it
never watched the show...just was curious as to why the finale wasn't on the day it usually airs.

I am supposed to be getting Season 1 on DVD from my buddy...he is a L O S T fanatic.

6. oh, the running gag throughout the entire series has been a series of numbers
4 8 15 16 23 42

The producers put those numbers in EVERYTHING. Apartment numbers will be 1516, if a lostie takes a number at a resturant, their number will be 42, they'll have to travel 8 miles to get somewhere, etc... so naturally they have a chance to end the show on one of those numbers and took it, lol.

15. spoiler
yes, Jack, the 23rd person on the list. So that's also playing into why they moved the finale to the 23rd.

9. I'm on the 3rd season DVD and it's just an AWESOME show. I'm
watching it now. I went ahead and watched the 2nd to the last show tonight and I'll watch the last one on Sunday. I had NO idea what was going on tonight, but I couldn't resist.

10. Actually, I think the intervening stuff will make more sense if you spoil it.
That's the advantage of character driven shows.

11. An early DVD release then?
For those of us who have been watching on DVD, hopefully we won't have to wait until next December for Season 6. I just finished Season 5 about a month ago.

14. I am starting Season 1 DVD soon
I will give it a try. Quite frankly, I am not really into shows like this. But my buddy tells me it's the best show ever. I will watch the first couple of episodes to see if I like it.

16. Careful!!
I was also resistant to the LOST phenom, but after watching the pilot (first 2 episodes), I was hooked and spent the next month watching 3-4 episodes a night, or losing entire weekends, to catch up prior to season 4 starting...my whole family went through the same experience after me as well, it is addicting!

It is good stuff though.

Good Luck!
