My BIG SATURDAY A.M. ADVENTURE!!!! We went to opening day

of a flea market in a small town where we have not been in 15 years, only to find that it is on Sunday... BUT we walked right into:::::::

RODENTFEST 2010!!!!!

An entire roomful of rodents in all their many varieties.

We left immediately, went to a local diner for a second breakfast and just got home.

1. What, no photos!?!!!

Actually I was just thinking about rodents. I was just muttering to myself it's time to stock up on Ratsak again. Winter's just about to hit here and I heard scratching in the wall last night. First arrivals for the local Rodentfest!

2. In Tucson, we have this living legend musician...

...name of Al Perry, who's known mostly for his work in the
cowpunk genre. He is magnificently... odd. Once, on my
comedy/novelty radio show I used one of his songs, "Gerbil"
(one of the very few instrumentals I ever played) and told
him that I had used it in my show devoted entirely to rodents.

"Rodents." said he. "That's weird. He paused a moment
and said, "No... that's REALLY weird."
.
Coming from him, to this day it's one of the compliments about
my show that I value the most.

My question, old mark... is "Why did you leave immediately?"
Now, WE'VE missed the chance to experience Rodentfest
vicariously.

We are SO disappointed in you.

musician. I think it's autobiographical. Whatever, it is truly

his work on my show a time or two, also.

4. This experience was high in my wierd category mainly because

we have had terrible problems with mice this winter after almost 13 years in this house with NO rodents at all. We just had an exterminator in after waking up several nights listening th the mice running above the ceiling tiles over our bed, which is nerve wracking.

He later counted 8 dead mice in our ceiling, and I am sure there are more merrily rotting away.

Rodentfest, my ass...

5. It's obvious that you didn't say...
