I interrupted two adults making out yesterday...
The mailboxes at work are grouped together outside the back of the office park. I opened the back door and immediately in front of me was a couple making out against a car behind the office! Slap in the middle of the day. It's not particularly private either and I just found it one of the strangest places to want to make out with someone.

They quickly pulled away from each other and I went about checking the mail. I was thinking WTF?

Would you have said something? It wasn't any of my business but I kinda wanted to say "What the hell?"

Naturally, I sent a co-worker out to look a few minutes later but they were gone. :)

4. No they were not. At least not in the businesses there...
which are very small. They could be from the next complex nearby.

2. We had a couple at work doing that frequently inside the building
You'd turn a corner in a hallway and there they were, making out. Eventually they were disciplined for it and have since stopped doing it. I never reported them myself. They were so brazen about it no one had to. They were young and I think it was the first office job for both.

5. This seemed weird...
not that older people can't make out, lol. Older people can pay for a hotel room. :)

3. Um... without being snarky... are you SERIOUS?!?!?
.
I realistically consider myself having gotten to the "older guy"
stage. My health, while better than it was and getting better...
pretty much sucks. It's been WAY too long since I've been in a
healthy, lusty physical relationship.
.
WAY too (ironically) fucking long!!!
.
Yet I am not so old nor so alone that I can't remember being joyfully
in lust with another.
.
You didn't say how old these "adults" were, but it doesn't really
matter. I can only HOPE that I will still be prone to grabbing my
loved one (or even just my lusted one) in inappropriate places
(snicker) in inappropriate settings up to and AFTER I'm eighty
years old.
.
No offense meant, but you may have lost a crucial spark in your life
and, if that's the case, it might benefit you greatly if you went in
search for it again.
.

I think it's probably been way too long since you've just plain
"made out".
.
I believe it was Lazarus Long who said, "Take big bites. Moderation
is for monks."
.
.
.
True story:
.
LONG ago, my GF and I were at a bar, talking low and running our hands
over each other in (for the most part) publicly appropriate places and
gathering steam over and for each other. We decided that we had to leave
RIGHT NOW.
.
My GF's GFs realized what was going on and teased us by grabbing her and
making her stop for conversation. It was a gauntlet. She'd respond with
a quick answer and leave... but the NEXT GF would stop her... and so on
and so on.
.
This is the most (almost literally) Neanderthalic thing I have ever done.
I finally realized what was going on, stepped back to my GF, bent down,
and put her over my shoulder.
.
"We have to go now", I told the GFs and turned to walk out.
.
My GF, over my shoulder, was giggling and waving to her GFs. "We have to
go now," she told the GFs.
.
My GF and I had hoped to go somewhere private and boink each others'
brains out.
.
We only made it to the hood of the car in the parking lot.
.
.
And it wasn't even OUR car!!!
.
.
99.9% of the time, my behavior would have been TOTALLY inappropriate.
.
According to all involved directly or voyeuristically, it was one of
the coolest, funniest and MOST appropriate things they had ever seen.
.
.
.
Funny aftereffect -- when she got a chance to talk with her GFs again,
some of them told her they had asked their BFs (one of them even
"punching" him on the arm), why THEY had never put them over their
shoulder and carried them EAGERLY out of a bar.
.

6. The fun of doing something inappropriate is, in part, that it truly is inappropriate.
Recognizing that it's kinda sleazy when other people do it doesn't make it any less fun when I do the same thing myself.

I don't think you have enough information to make a sweeping statement like "may have lost a crucial spark in your life". Such judgmental comments are a less fun type of inappropriate.

8. I was VERY careful...
.
...to write "you MIGHT have lost a spark" because, without the
"MIGHT", it MIGHT have been judgmental.
.
Mightn't it?

7. Right, but were you at a bar in the middle of a Thursday afternoon
and you decided to head to a nearby *office park* to make out?

It's not about the fact that they were making out - more power to them. It was the location.

9. You just made me think about the Seinfeld episode...
.
...about making out during "Schindler's List".
.

.
One of the cool things about love/lust is that
sometimes it grabs both parties by the seat of
the pants (by the seat, yeah right) and makes
you collectively fucking goofy.
.
YAY LOVE/LUST!!!!!
.

20. need to be sure my wife doesn't see this...
Considering that I'm not a big guy (and she has about 20 pounds on me) - no WAY I'm going to try putting her over my shoulder and walking anywhere with her

(and considering that I seem to be attracted to women around my size...don't think it ever would have happened/will happen with anyone)

11. I saw this on a subway one time
A couple was about two minutes from conceiving a child right there in the the Green Line in Boston. Could have named the kid Charlie after the old Kingston Trio song, I suppose.

13. they were in a parking lot..
even if it was "the middle of the day"......

more power to them.....

to show your love is nothing to be ashamed about....

so much could be behind this....

maybe one of them is married and tried to find a private place for a quick meet up (I hope not)
or they were just in love.....

I don't see the problem here.....

19. Once, there was a VERY LOUD, very late party going on...
.
...at the apartment next to mine where several college students
lived. I heard what sounded like a light knocking at my door and
looked through the keyhole to find two of the departing guests
had chosen my door to stand against whilst dry-humping each other.
.
How rude!!!
.
.
Timing it better than I could EVER have hoped for, I yanked open
the door and they came (snicker) spilling onto the floor of my place.

.
.
Those last two smilies weren't ME rolling on the floor laughing...
they're a pretty accurate depiction of what that couple looked
like on my floor.
.
.
Now... THAT was me!!!
.
