A Month Ago My Son Wrecked My Car
while he was learning to drive...

with me at his side...

Today he failed his driving test... blamed it on the teacher, kids walking down the road, other cars, etc.

I fear a long time of learning.

BTW I got my car back finally, no one was hurt. Airbags deployed well, car looks better than new

:hi:

1. I failed my drivers test three times...
I have been driving for more than 20 years now and other than a few garages, an odd traffic cone here and there and the tree in my driveway, I have never been responsible for an accident (granted my car was totaled last month, but someone ran a stop sign and t-boned me), your son will be an awesome driver like me some day! :P

3. you are a very lenient father
my dad would have an aneurysm if i fucked up his car.

actually i'm specifically going to pay for lessons rather than get him to teach me because he is very protective of his vehicles.

7. I remember when I took my driving test
Everyone told me I would. "Don't go to that DMV", they said. "Everyone fails their first test there", They said.

Turns out they were right. It also turns out you shouldn't always listen to the instructor. Particularly when they know its your first run, they have a rep to keep, and they tell you to turn. The wrong way. Onto a one way street.
