Horizon Air's Clark and Lewis ads
Been looking for these for a long time. Been a fan of Richard Kind since his days on Spin City.

Horizon Air launched the Clark and Lewis ads in 1998 to emphasize its "Wings of the Great Northwest" tagline. Since then, the explorers have consistently noted the stark contrast between the pleasures of travel on Horizon Air (and now Alaska Airlines) and the hardships of their historic journey to the Pacific.

The characters have proved so popular with radio listeners that they've been brought back again and again. In 2003, they were even enlisted by the Washington State History Museum to help promote the Lewis and Clark Bicentennial.

Giving voice to the distinctive characters since the very beginning have been actors http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Kind">Richard Kind (Clark) and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patrick_Warburton">Patrick Warburton (Lewis).

There's no need to scan the radio dial to try to catch the latest installments of these mini-sitcoms. Listen to Clark and Lewis online by clicking on the links to the right. New ads will be posted every two weeks.

1. Hey, that's my company! (well, I work for Alaska)
...and believe it or not, I'd never heard of this campaign. We in the Bay Area are kind of the second-class stepchildren of Seattle and Portland though, so I shouldn't be surprised!

2. They've been running for years up here
It takes many names: The Road of Regret. Heartache Highway. The I-Shouldn't-Have. But for most business travelers who've been forced to drive I-5's 200 miles of concrete and inconvenience between Seattle and Portland, it's known simply as "The Slog" - the longest three-hour drive in American history.
