A 24-year-old Sheboygan woman arrested twice in the last year for bringing or trying to bring drugs to jail has learned the third time is not always the charm, court records show.
A criminal complaint said Briana J. Stahl had her probation hold temporarily lifted to attend to “personal matters” on Thursday. When she returned, guards found three Oxycodone pills in her pocket and observed lethargic demeanor, raspy speech and constant scratching consistent with recent drug use.
Stahl said she didn’t know how the pills ended up in her pocket but said they may have been inadvertently left there in the past. She did not have a prescription for the pills.
