Why do I feel bad?
I just turned in a coworker who manipulated a time sheet to give themselves 32 more work hours this week. I had an inquiry as to their whereabouts and when I looked I noticed the alteration.x(

1. Don't feel bad
He/She is screwing the honest people.

Who the hell cheats like that especially in this job market??? It's hard enough to find a job with an impeccable work record!

2. That's pretty damn bold.
He/she was asking to be caught if they even thought they could get away with padding THAT many hours.

Don't sweat it. :hi:

5. I saw a coworker do that once...
and I didn't report him. Why? Because I didn't care if the company got screwed over.

6. If you looked the other way your job could've been on the line.
Would this person help pay your bills if you got suspended or fired for them? Recently at my job somebody asked a coworker to punch them in because they were running late. They later got caught and the person who was punched in was put on a warning but the person who was helping their coworker was fired. I know discovering what this person did is not actively participating in their deception but if it ever came out that you knew, and with a big deception like that it could become obvious that you knew, not only could you get in trouble but some companies will look at your actions as worse than the other person.

7. My dear Rambis...
You feel bad probably because you were raised not to be a "snitch."

And you did exactly the right thing! It takes a really good person to do what you just did...

I hope you feel much better about having done this soon...
