6. If you looked the other way your job could've been on the line.
Would this person help pay your bills if you got suspended or fired for them? Recently at my job somebody asked a coworker to punch them in because they were running late. They later got caught and the person who was punched in was put on a warning but the person who was helping their coworker was fired. I know discovering what this person did is not actively participating in their deception but if it ever came out that you knew, and with a big deception like that it could become obvious that you knew, not only could you get in trouble but some companies will look at your actions as worse than the other person.
