3. The Unknown Comic.
Also, the Unknown Stuntman who made Eastwood such a star.

20. If you watch Clint Eastwood films, there is less use of stunt men then you would think.
Edited on Mon Apr-19-10 11:56 PM by RandomThoughts
Most of his action is dramatic action not stunt action.

That is one thing I like about his films, they give the presentation of full of action, that many movies use fancy action sequences to do, but he does it with good dialog and strong characters in dramatic situations.

24. Obviously, you were not a fan of "The Fall Guy"
"Well, I'm not the kind to kiss and tell,
But I've been seen with Farrah.
(See, Lee Majors plays a stuntman, the star of the show and in real life...aww nevermind.)

etc. etc. etc. words...words..

I might jump an open drawbridge,
Or Tarzan from a vine.
'Cause I'm the unknown stuntman that makes Eastwood look so fine."

My memory fucked up, I got the lyric wrong. oops.

("look so fine?" )

29. I have nothing against stunt men, it is an interesting concept.
Edited on Tue Apr-20-10 01:46 AM by RandomThoughts
First it is about specialization. Since some people may be better actors, and other people better able to handle complex action scenes.

Although CGI seems to be making an indent into stunt man roles.

As far as Fall Guy, there you have another concept. The idea of patsy, or person thrown under the bus for someone elses benifit. And that also fits the stunt man angle on things.

Personally, I like Lee Majors other show, where he gets back up.

Stronger and better then before.

Note that his role in the show Jake 2.0 was interesting also.

And don't forget, that Heather Thomas was Lee Majors assistant in the Fall Guy,
And she was also the partner of William Shatner on Tj Hooker!

So there is always that LOL

Also Richard Dean Anderson was on McGyver and SG1, and the Lee Majors Boss in 6 million dollar man, was also Richard Anderson. Things like that are funny. Although Daniel Jackson was a better character.

And on another side note, notice the patch they use.

Here is Stargate Commands emblem

Fun post :)

44. Corrections!
Heather Locklear was the Shat's partner on TJ Hooker but Heather Thomas--not Heather Locklear --was Lee Major's partner on The Fall Guy.

BUT:

Heather Locklear did appear in a couple episodes of The Fall Guy.

AND(!):

Heather Thomas was credited with an appearance in--yeah, you got it--TJ Hooker.

Neither one was in the movie Heathers as far as I know, and I'm not going back to IMDB to check.

31. I know THAT guy ...
... but what about the 'nother guy - ya know, the one that THAT guy never admits to knowing?

I am given to understand (on VERY good authority) that the 'nother guy is part of the "some people say" crowd. 'Cause sometimes he says.

He doesn't say this, and he's not saying that. But mark his words.

42. Millard Filmore
His name has become synonymous with obscure, pointless presidents. Yet he was far from the worst president even of his generation. In fact, Abraham Lincoln was a fan of his. He screwed up on the Compromise of 1850 and did so badly, on the balance he didn't do terribly in office compared to the two losers who followed him.

46. Maj. Major Major Major
Maj. Major Major Major: Sergeant, from now on, I don't want anyone to come in and see me while I'm in my office. Is that clear?

First Sgt. Towser: Yes, sir? What do I say to people who want to come in and see you while you're gone?

Maj. Major Major Major: Tell them I'm in and ask them to wait.

First Sgt. Towser: For how long?

Maj. Major Major Major: Until I've left.

First Sgt. Towser: And then what do I do with them?

Maj. Major Major Major: I don't care.

First Sgt. Towser: May I send people in to see you after you've left?

Maj. Major Major Major: Yes.

First Sgt. Towser: You won't be here then, will you?

Maj. Major Major Major: No.

First Sgt. Towser: I see, sir. Will that be all?

Maj. Major Major Major: Also, Sergeant, I don't want you coming in while I'm in my office asking me if there's anything you can do for me. Is that clear?

First Sgt. Towser: Yes, sir. When should I come in your office and ask if there's anything I can do for you?

Maj. Major Major Major: When I'm not there.

First Sgt. Towser: What do I do then?

Maj. Major Major Major: Whatever has to be done.

First Sgt. Towser: Yes, sir.
