Poll question: The Blues! Chicago or Delta? (Styles listed alphabetically as to not skew results. Heh.)
Tell me what you like. If you're feeling it, link to your favorite blues song or list it if it's not available online

2. depends on my mood... although having spent hundreds of drunken ( and then some) nights
in Chicago blues bars ( mainly in the '70's), I gotta say that when it's really cookin', there's nothing like some hard core Chicago blues.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vn77rGEV6XM----one of dozens I could list as favorite blues song, but this just about sums up that Chicago sound and feel.

18. Meh. I've been brainwashed into thinking the world revolves around America...
which is the US, not Mexico or Canada or Central and South America. It's cuz of those dumb maps we had but no longer do according to Miss Teen South Carolina.

I'm sure soccer is a great sport. Tosh.0

21. My tongue is firmly lodged in my cheek...
and my soccer football comments were intentionally provocative. I'm a Philly ghetto rat, and soccer wasn't something I was exposed to. I mean no harm -- just a little rib poking. Call me cheeky.

22. Provocative? Let us then talk about your Micheal Vick's Eagles.
I mean if you want provocative, you should go to the extreme, and talk about embracing a dogfighting douchebag to your throwball team.

Now you can call me cheeky.

24. Oh, and the maps thing...
When I was in school, we used skewed maps where the US was disproportionately large, South America was disproportionately small, and the Americas were in the center of the map. That was the US centric business I was talking about that kind of reflected the We're #1 rah rah US mindset I rail against. South Carolina's Miss Teen USA pageant contestant is this chick.

Thanks for the welcome!

I tend to put alot of stock in origins. it's the same reason why citizen kane is one of the best films ever made...whether it is or not.

27. Give me an option for "Both", and I'm in- I played and sang electric blues for over 15 years,
but I love Son House, Robert Johnson, Blind Willie McTell, Hambone Willie Newbern, Memphis Minnie, and many more..there are so many I have yet to hear...My "Favorite" changes from time to time...it is all wonderful creative music, simple but not easy.

Remember - Eric Clapron said that Buddy Guy's the best, Buddy Guy says Magic Sam's the best....it goes on a long way.

enjoy it all.
