It's up there with LOL, Laugh Out Loud, and my favorite, ROFLMAO, Rolling on the Floor, Laughing My Ass Off! Does that help?

Actually, it's an acronym for Rolling On the Floor Laughing Out Loud (ROFLOL) or the abbreviated version Rolling on Floor Laughing (ROFL).

ROFL = Rolling on Floor Laughing
ROLF = Regurgitating on Lavatory Floor

ROFL happens a great deal here at the DU. ROLF happens more in the presence of radical right wingers or people like Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, or Katherine Harris.
