1. I grew up in a home without AC (my dad hated the concept of AC)...
....and I have to admit that it actually gave me a greater tolerance towards heat and humidity that I think I might otherwise not have. While I do use the AC now, in retrospect being AC-less wasn't nearly as bad as it would sound to someone else. Just me though.
