I rarely post this type of stuff, but I am so happy that tiny Butler College has made the final four and are playing in Indy tomorrow. The city is all abuzz with positive energy. I think many, many people are happier about Butler than they ever were about the Colts making the Superbowl.
I am off to help Bobby Plump (the inspiration for the movie Hoosiers and Butler All-American in the 1950s) and his son Jonathan at their bar in Broad Ripple Village. They need some extra bartenders tonight with all the folks coming in to see THE basketball bar in Indianapolis. I will buy any DU'er a beer if they ask for Vinnie at the bar! Cheers!
