Hollow or solid chocolate bunny, this is a important question.
Half price candy starts on Monday.

I have my eye on some big bunnies.

Good time to buy extra for the freezer.

2. Chocolate is any shape is a wonderful thing.
There's a little "Mom and Pop" drug store down the street. They make Chocolate Shakes and Malts that are
downright Sinful. They use top quality stuff and put the ingredients in the old fashion steel can...mix it up and sell them for
2.89.
If I let myself, I'd be down there all the time and weigh 500 lbs ! :)

6. We had a drugstore like that when I was little.
All the kids would go there for cherry cokes and ice cream.

The building is still there.

Across the street was a mom and pop grocery store with penny candy.

We must have drove the old man crazy picking out candy.

The candy was behind glass, with big jars of candy.

by Monday.

I am on an Atkins-no carb-diet now, and won't have any chocolate this year at all....I can smell them big chocolate bunnies from 10 feet away and I will be happy when this is over.

Next year....

5. We have 24 hour stores here.
I will make make my raid at midnight Sunday morning.

I have two neighbor ladies who will get a basket left on their steps Sunday morning.

There must be 20 CVS's and Walgreens within 10 miles of my house.

Last year I found this huge hollow bunny.

It took the four of us 3 weeks to eat it.

12. Both. I have to have at least one of each every year.
Edited on Fri Apr-02-10 09:13 PM by Kat45
I already bought a small one of each, just in case they're out of them by the time I get to the store for the half-priced candy. But if they have some, I'll get some more. I also already have a couple of packages of Peeps and some chocolate marshmallow eggs. :9

18. Peanut-butter stuffed!
Solid ones are fine if they are small, but the bigger ones you have to attack with a knife to break bits off, and that always felt a bit like murder to me, you know? Hollow ones are easier to break into, but they...just...disappear...soooo....quickly. Quick like a bunny.

19. Solid!
Helpful hint: Chocolate melts easily. If you get really first-quality bunnies--NOT Palmer's!--they make good melting chocolate.

School raises money by raffling a yummy bunny
Shocked secondary school pupils were introduced to their newest classmate in early April –
a 5ft tall chocolate Easter bunny!

The life-sized edible creation stood proudly in the reception of Claremont High School
before it was raffled to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Chocolate-loving teenagers had been eyeing up the tasty treat, which was kindly donated by
London department store Harrods, since it arrived and each pledged a pound to enter the
exciting draw. The buck-toothed bunny was divvied up into more than 100 bags and distributed
to winners but there was still chocolate left over to go around.

Teacher Paul McCann said: “The rabbit was unbelievable and it took four grown men to lift it.
We had to have more than one winner because I don’t think even the biggest chocoholic would
be able to eat it all!”

Naomi said: “The Bunny was delivered to the school a week before the raffle and caused great excitement among the pupils. It took some cutting up and the chocolate was beautiful. The
school raised more than £900 and we want to thank all the pupils and staff for their efforts.”

That is enough for the whole lounge.

Had to be solid to be that heavy.
