2. yeah...what is up with that?
I mean, I know that eggs and rabbits are fertility symbols and are associated with pagan spring fertility celebrations, but why in heck do Christians celebrate a guy coming back from the dead with fertility symbols?

Never really understood how they connect those - I suppose they don't think about it.

I suppose their could be a "rebirth" kind of theme there, which is another pagan concept...

5. I remember reading years ago that there was a bird that laid mulit-colored eggs in the grass.
At the same time hares not rabbits would be jumping around as in mad as march hares.

I think this was in Ireland, Scottland or England.

So the two things were put together by pagans.

Make sense to me.
