Poll question: Who is/was the comeback king or queen?
No, I'm not afraid to say Jesus; but even as an agnostic I didn't want him (or Him if you prefer) on the same poll with Nixon.

7. I like the choice
Interestingly enough he never actually won the comeback player of the year award. 2007 was the year he returned to form but Greg Ellis won it that year. The year after when he had top 5 QB numbers in 2008 is the same year Chad Pennington won it twice in 3 years. Tom Brady won it 2009 which I'm sure the injuries of '08 where he missed most of the season is the reason he won it.

As far as the NFL is concerned I'd add Tommy Maddox and Doug Flutie to the list as great comebacks in the NFL.

12. So many really
But my favorite comeback kid is Ozzy for Blizzard of OZ. I remember back in the day Ozzy got booted out of Black Sabbath for being a drunk drug addled loser. Most people figured his best days were behind him and that he would never front a group again...much less make great rock and roll. So abou the same time, Sony comes out with this new fangled toy called a "Walkman".

So I'm walking down the see the street and I see my pal Mark walking toward me and he has these teeny weeny headsets on, and he's obviousley rocking out. He walks up to me eager to show me his new toy, a "Walkman". I look at it and don't think much of it (it's sooooooooo small...and the headsets are sooooooo teeny weeny). He tells me that he has Ozzy's newest album and I need to hear it. So I take the headsets out of his hands and and put them on my head, and Mark clicks the button...

I was sooo blown away I immediately ran down to Poney's and purchased my own Walkman and Ozzy's latest album and rocked my ass off with tears flowing from my eyes...Ozzy did it...he pulled another rock pearl out of white pale flabby ass...yes I rocked out along with a couple of million other potheads and miscreants secure in the knowledge that if Ozzy could make it in this cold cruel world...anyone can!
