Incredible experience and one I would love to have again.

Being in an Irish bar in Tokyo celebrating the Irish team's improbable run with an incredible mix of nationalities was a true highlight.

Didn't notice it much. A few more tourists (drunk, sunburned Germans). I know of two different people who gave tourists walking directions through Cabrini-Green (yikes!)

13. World Cup. Actually, it's the only one I have ever been to.
Golf and football bore me. If you like them, I mean no disrespect, but I cannot stand them.

Soccer is nonstop action, movement, skill and strategy. And when you have an international crowd, the stands are wild.

17. The World Cup
no question.

The only World Cup game I've ever seen was the Women's 1999 semi-final at Stanford Stadium...US vs. Brazil. The Brazilian fans were banging on drums and it LOUD!!! Lasted the whole game!!

Good times.

only I fear for the safety of the players and the supporters in South Africa. The togo bus attack may have been a wrong place at the wrong time situation but the publicity the rebels got have given terror groups notions.
