stopped at the gas station to fill up my little car and when I opened the fuel door I discovered that the last person to get gas (not me) lost the cap. No biggie NAPA is right across the street. I walk in and remember I wanted to look for some plastic trim retainers for the idiot light cover that has been rolling around the vehicle since I got it last August. Find those and have the guy get the new gas cap. Start to pull out the $5 bill from my wallet, figuring it would cover both. $16.03!!!!!

Of course after I got home husband kindly reminded me we have another car in the junk pile that probably has the same cap.:mad:

I was truly shocked at the total! figured 3 bucks for cap, 1.79 for the plastic trim clips
