17. Norton was the only cool thing about Steve Miller....
But he wasn't worth the three minutes per show he got shine to listen to the rest of the dreck that is the SMB catalog.
I loved Norton. gave me the best advice ever. Told me to play everything on harmonica, not just the blues. I can rock tons of stuff with that thing and I play very differently than almost anyone.(except Norton). I can do the Little Walter thing, but I love to play the melody and Norton taught me that.
11. I wish Steve Miller would hop on that "Jet Airliner"....

and fly the hell away from me.
And then let everyone know that Paul Pena wrote that song.
(edited cuz I couldn't remember the name of this stinking pile of lameness's name because I try to avoid hearing any Steve Miller ever and the last time I actually heard this song was Paul Pena with String Cheese Incident in 2002(?)
24. I actually don't like that song but oddly enough I know all the lyrics
True story.
I took lifeguarding lessons at a neighboring town about 15 miles from my home. Since I was still on my drivers permit, my mother would drive me to the lessons every morning. And as always I would listen to one of those cheesy pop stations that tend to play the same music over and over again. I think they did a top 10 at 10 countdown or something silly like that.
Anyhow, I guess that was when Steve Miller Band was big because everyday it would play on the radio at the same time and I would sing along at the top of my lungs (hey I was 16 - so sue me). So for some reason I know all the lyrics.
