2. "full" throws a bit of a wrinkle in there.
I actually rarely listen to full CDs these days in one sitting. Itunes shuffle has killed those days, but let me think.....

Nomeansno - 0+2=1 1/2 (they originally released a CD in '91 called 0+2=1.This is outtakes, demos and different versions)
Didjits - Fizzjob
Rocket From The Crypt - Scream Dracula Scream
Johnny Cash Live At Folsom Prison
Crass - Penis Envy

Thank God Itunes also tells us "recently played"!

:hi:

You're not alone - appears more people buy individual songs and listen to compilations. I've always been an album person, though I do make some iTunes compilations. :hi:

6. That's usually how I do it--I love the flow of a good album
Joe Satriani: Crystal Planet
Judas Priest: A Touch of Evil Live
Judas Priest: Sin After Sin
Armored Saint: Raisning Fear
Joe Satriani: The Extremist

Yes, I like to rock out or headbang on my way to go paddling--espeially when the water is still so chilly, I might need a little extra motivation.

Get Your Wings
Rocks
Toys in the Attic

Pavement: Slanted and Enchanted (better than I remember it, I always get them confused with My Bloody Valentine)

45. Who has that kind of time?
I just listened to Loudon Wainwright III's "Songs for the New Depression" which, unfortunately, is largely Mark Russell-style doggerel on current events, like his abysmal "Social Studies" album from 8 or 10 years ago. I think he's at least smart enough to NOT put these topical songs on his "real" albums any longer, since they won't wear well.

Prior to that? All the way through? Hard to say...

Anyway,

Last 3 albums
(1) Linzi Hateley: For The First Time -Linzi Hateley is a very talented British theatre actress and singer who has performed in many musicals including Les Miserables, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Mary Poppins. A beautiful voice and a definite easy listening choice. Highly recommended
(2) Les Miserables Tenth Anniversary Concert -This concert, performed in London in 1995, gathered together different performers from all the productions of Les Miserables around the world. Very beautiful and haunting
(3) Johnny Cash -Has a collection of some of his greatest hits. Highly recommended

53. Hi, mvd!
Vampire Weekend, Contra
Pleasant, but not really overwhelming.

Daniel Merriweather, Love & War
Really nice blue-eyed soul. I know you've got a sweet tooth for pop, mvd, and I think you'd like this one.

Massive Attack, Heligoland
Not as good as Mezzanine, but cold and atmospheric and well worth having if you like the band.

Laura Veirs, July Flame
Excellent folk-rock.

Sharon Jones And The Dap-Kings, I Learned the Hard Way

Thanks to NPR:
