6. The second egg wasn't viable
Phoebe abandoned that nest and eventually the host removed the egg.

7. Update!
Phoebe laid a second egg this morning at 6:51am, and a crow swooped in and took them both about 10am today.

How sad for Phoebe. She's still at the nest. Some people in chat say it looks like she may have another egg to lay.

I know it's just nature, but I'm sad for her and all of us watching her. She's had a rough go here lately.
