Pirate Radio.
It's a film. And not a bad one. I see very few films, but having lived thru' that era I thought why not.
It was worth it. Fun.

3. Excuse yourself Dr., that would be arrgh. I guess I don't know where
you studied piracy. ha ha Oh, sorry.
I know it's not accurate. That really is impossible. The purpose of a film is entertainment.
Also, they used expressions that were not used in those days. But.
And some of those costumes were a bit much. Not every man, woman and child dressed like that in those days.
But it was based on a true story.
Anyway, thanks for your comments.

4. I was part of a pirate radio station
that moved from garage to garage for several years before they caught up with us. The brains of the station used a piece of test equipment and we could broadcast, in stereo in radius of about 1/4 mile..........
It was fun while it lasted!

6. They slapped a sticker
on the door to where we had the studio and fined the homeowner.$500 I think. Also said if they had to make another visit, they'd confiscate the equipment. So some of us threw money into the hat for the fine and thus ended the grand experiment of pirate radio in an Orange County, Cal city.....this was like 1985 or so.

example.
Only they take extreme measures to make it impossible to catch them.
The film was about one on a boat off the coast of England at a time when the government controlled radio station would not play any rock and roll music.
