Anyone here remember (or care about) Savoy Brown?

They had quite a run here in the USA back in the early '70's with such albums as "Jack the Toad", "Street Corner Talking" (especially), "Lion's Share' and "Hellbound Train". And many many more. But the thing about this band was that they never had the same personnel from one album to the next. The only constant was Kim Simmonds. But the aforementioned albums are fine examples of British Blues Rock and deserve to be listened to and remembered. Long live Savoy Brown!

My memory ain't what it used to be, and it never has been too good, but I sort of remember Blodwyn Pig. A few of my brain cells have been destroyed while listening to the British Blues.

LOVE Savoy Brown...have a couple of CDs...all the albums are long gone.
Getting to the Point...wore it out...on my second CD.

here in Tucson (though the singer/lead guitarist is the only original
member left, I think) and they were TIGHT.

I had that "Hellbound Train" album and remember "Take it Easy" and "All I Can Do is Cry" and at the moment . . . . I don't remember what else was good about that album . . . .
