I've been on hold for 14 minutes
When I called into the system, the robo-voice advised me that I could request a call-back, or I could continue to hold "between two and four minutes."

Why do they even give an estimate? I've never had one even get close to actual hold-time, and for someone who's calling with a complaint, a 400% error doesn't exactly soften my mood prior to speaking with a CSR.

1. When the CSR answers, ask if they can hold for a minute and then put the phone down.
Come back in half an hour to see if they are still on. If not, call back at the earliest time of day the phone lines are available.
