OK...driving to work today and I pass this medical center, one which I know does DNC's (not the Democratic National Committee, but a procedure done after a miscarriage to clean up and make the womb more receptive for the next time.) Anyway, there are two freepers out with their anti-abortion signs, being, well, dumbasses.

I wanted to park the car, and chew out these losers - but a lack of time made me consider otherwsise.

Someone please tell me why this was a good idea?

They are numerous. They see your assault as your failing. They will feel empowered by your reaction. Its just a bad idea.

5. Do not poke the protestors

The clinics are very practiced in dealing with them. In fact your intereference may well trigger problems. It is dangerous enough for them without insensed fundies who may go off. You may inadvertantly give them grounds to sue on as well.

If you really want to help then find and join support groups. Offer your time to escort people or help defend in an organized fashion.

8. I'd have no problems if you did

I had to get a D&C done during a miscarriage at 12 weeks because I was hemorraging. I suppose it would have been Jesus's will to have me bleed to death. :eyes: The last thing I would have needed during those painful moments is for some idiot to be yelling "baby killer" at me.

11. I know...my wife had a D&C done at 5 weeks

and when we had Nate we had no problems. God knows what would have happened if we didn't do the D&C (not that it was ever an option.)

So I guess that makes us baby killers too?
