figure skating & skate dancing this week? The one a week ago seemed rather snide and condescending. Or was that my imagination?

or just the "aboriginal" Russian skaters? That's all I saw.

on a lot of them. Also taking a somewhat contemptuous tone about how some people could have done some more practicing.

We're talking real shit for brains. Always bad mouths everything every athlete does, and ends up badmouthing the performances that end up winning the gold even more than the others. They could have a trained chimpanzee pushing canned responses on a control board and end up with better commentary than that person.

the woman who does the commentary with Scott Hamilton is a former pairs skater and the ice dancing announcer was an ice dancer.

She does not have the distinctly arch and goody twoshoes tone of the one I'm talking about.

Goody-two shoes description sounds like Sandra Bezic. She's the pairs and singles commentator.

The other woman has a much warmer tone even while she is making some good critiques.
